It's all in the software...
Coming from a totally different background (accounting) I discovered computer graphics software while working with a training software company in the late 1980's. That's when I decided to go on my own and became a free-lance illustrator, working mainly for advertising agencies. My main tools where Adobe's Illustrator and Photoshop.
